Straight to the BOHLMANN-NET
Aim of the BOHLMANN-NET:
Cause I know my ancestors from the Bohlmann-side (ancestors of my father) only
up to my grandfather, and the name Bohlmann isn't recurrent, the idea was
born to provide a meeting-place for Bohlmanns called BOHLMANN-NET. The number of
mails and guestbook-entries I got in the first year after publishing my homepage,
intensified my idea. Among other I got contacts from teh USA and from
South-Africa.
I hope, The vision, that relatives will meet here, who didn't knew anything
about the other, will be reality.
Everyone, who will be assimilated here, should offer the following informations about
himself:
If anyone will offer not only his dates, but also knows the dates of his ancestors named Bohlmann and will publish them, too, of course it will be
really interesting.
In the near future please send me the informations per mail. Later I will offer a
reasonable formular.
All input will be done to a database, so that queries like "place of birth
= New York" could be done, which will give back a link or a linklist to
pages below the BOHLMANN-NET. All this will be (if the queries stay manageable) done manual by me, later it should be done automatically.
A classification into continents facilitates the entry. If a country gets the second
entry, this country will be a new subitem.
To clarify: only the ancestors with the name Bohlmann are interesting. It
won't arise a tree, but a linear list with small junctions of the Bohlmanns,
who aren't born as a Bohlmann. My mother, who was born as a Schulz, is only a
single entry, her ancestors won't be assimilated. If a born Bohlmann has married
and has taken another surname, he won't be assimilated, unless, he has got
children with the name Bohlmann before.
